Paula Elaine Hampton, 77, of Pangburn, passed away on May 25, 2022 at her home. She was born on April 17, 1945 to the late Robert Maples and Mildred (Smith) Maples in Eagle Pass, Texas. Paula loved doing arts and crafts, cooking, and helping others. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Searcy.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Robinson (Gary) of Pangburn; sisters, Renee Westbrook (Larry) of Pangburn, and Leah Hardin of Searcy; granddaughters, Shelby Robinson of Ripley, Mississippi, and Kimberly Robinson of Ripley, Mississippi, grandson, Gary Reeves of Horn Lake, Mississippi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Hampton; and her brothers, Paul Wayne and Robert Maples, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. Interment will follow in Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
