Shirley E. Piontek, age 89, of Hot Springs Village, AR, died October 9, 2008. Mrs. Piontek was born in Elmhurst, IL to the late Edward and Flora (Pfund) Rothermund, on January 24, 1919. Shirley moved to Hot Springs Village 25 years ago. She was an avid reader, loved golf and was a master bridge player. She is survived by her son Don Lemmon and wife Pattye of Sacramento, CA; son Victor Lemmon and wife Karen of Orange Park, FL; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her first husband, Victor Lemmon, her second husband, John Piontek and her son Douglas Lemmon. Memorial service is at Caruth Village Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 2 pm. All memorials can be made in her honor to the Arkansas Hospice at St. Joseph's Hospital of Hot Springs.
