Bobbie Lyle Ewton, 90, of Alma passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at Alma Health & Rehabilitation.
She was born July 26, 1928, in Alma.
She went to Alma High School and later ended up in North Little Rock where she worked at Little Rock Boys Club for over 30 years. She liked to travel, was of the Baptist faith and attended Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock, working in the nursery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ewton; parents, O.T. and Willie Crawford; son, Mark; two sisters, Marie Powell and Mary Sue Warnock; and brother, Jerry Crawford.
She is survived by two stepsons, Ronnie Ewton and his wife Jerilyn of Florida and Mike Ewton and his wife Joanne of Georgia; sister, Lynda Haught and her husband Ron of Alma; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Jamie, Travis and Brandon; 13 nephews and nieces; 28 great-nephews and nieces; and nine great-great-nephew and -nieces.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
