William Eugene Linker was the son of George Franklin Linker & Goldie Lewalla Barnes. William Eugene married Alice Payne and had two children; George ,Raymnond and Sheryl Marie.

March 20, 1936 - January 4, 2020

Alice Marie Linker, 83, of Dover, died Saturday, January 4, 2020 at St. Mary's Reg. Med. Center in Russellville. The daughter of George and Ethel May Smith Payne, she was born March 20, 1936 in Bridgeport, CT. Alice married William Eugene “Bob” Linker in Bangor, Maine and was a homemaker as they traveled throughout the country with their three children during his Air Force career. Alice was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Alice was of the Methodist faith and attended the Dover First United Methodist. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting and painting. She was preceded in death by her husband William Eugene Linker; her parents and a daughter in Law, Sharon Dianne Linker.

Alice is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Chute (Mark) of Chelsea, IA; two sons, Edward Eugene Linker of Copperas Cove, TX; George Raymond Linker of Dover; two granddaughters, Frances Charlene Reiser (Shane) of Belton, TX; Panda Iris Linker of Copperas Cove, TX; four grandsons, Erik Eugene Linker; Justin Duane Linker (Kristin) both of Copperas Cove, TX; Robin Thomas Chute (Stephanie); and Brion William Chute (Erin) both of Moville, IA; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a sister Esther Annie Payne of Syracuse, NY.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
