Fred Spradlin, age 83, of Dover, died Friday, November 22, 2019, at Indian Rock Village in Fairfield Bay. He was born January 15, 1936, in Tennyson, Indiana to Loren and Valada Powers Spradlin. He was of the Christian faith and a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Naomi Spradlin.
Survivors include a nephew, Gary Wayne Hoover and a niece, Cindy Dillon.
Burial will be private in McFadden Cemetery at Dover.

Naomi Spradlin, 60, of Dover, died Thursday, February 26, 2009, at home.
She was born August 25, 1948, in Rutland, Vermont to David Irish Deyette Jr. and Lillian Martha Bigelow Deyette. She was of the Christian faith and was preceded in death by her parents and a dear friend, Flo Kendall who was like a mother to her.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Fred Spradlin of Dover; and a brother and sister-in-law, David and Lorraine Deyette of East Hartford, Connecticut.
Visitation will be from 4 – 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Shinn Funeral Service. There will be a private burial and memorial service at McFadden Cemetery at Dover.
The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the Pope County Health Department Hospice.
