September 10, 1912 - November 14, 1971
Mrs. Elizabeth Woolsey Garrett, 59, wife of O. C. Garrett, 1604 Mt. Holly Rd., died Sunday afternoon at her home, after a lengthy illness. Other survivors besides her husband, are two daughters; Mrs. Martha Nell Goza and Mrs. Evelyn Nell Dickerson both of Camden; four sons, Oliver A. Garrett of Camden, Thomas, Joseph, and McDearl Garrett, all of Baytown, Texas; her step-mother, Mrs. Lena Fowler of El Dorado; 24 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Temple Baptist Church, with burial in Bethesda Cemetery, with Proctors in charge of arrangements. (Camden News - November 15, 1971)
