Georgia Srygley 92, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, in Fort Smith. She was a retired supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone after 36 years of service, east member of SW Bell Pioneers and the Methodist Village Auxiliary and a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Srygley , a sister, Fairy Sloan, and stepdaughter, Sarah Warner. Graveside service will be 11 a.m.at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. She is survived by a stepson, Monte R. Srygley Jr. of Richardson, Texas; two nephews, Larry Sloan of Richardson, Texas and David Sloan of Fort Worth, Texas. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home.
