Teresa Bright Nye Beloved mother, wife, and friend,Teresa Bright Nye, 58, took the hand of her Lord on January 4th, 2017. Teresa was born April 19th, 1958 to Louie and Inez (Goss) Bright of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was a 1976 graduate of Hot Springs High School and went on to be a proud Tiger at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas where she received her bachelors of science in Special Education, and fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming a teacher. Teresa married Chuck Nye on June 12, 1982 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. They raised two daughters, Emily and Audrey, and in their marriage of 34 years, the family lived in six states, but consider Arkansas their home. There will be a celebration memorial of Teresa's life on Saturday, January 21st at 10am at Evergreen Christian Community at 1000 Black Lake Blvd. SW in Olympia, Washington with a reception immediately following.
