PRAIRIE GROVE — Vernon Leroy Millis, 91, of Prairie Grove died June 9, 2011, at Prairie Grove Health & Rehab in Prairie Grove. He was born Nov. 8, 1919, in Edgerton, Minn., to Daniel Eberret and Clara Kingsbury Millis.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Prairie Grove.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice Millis; three sons, David Millis of Alberquerque, Minn., Michael Millis of Houston, and Kenneth Millis of Prairie Grove; one sister; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with John King officiating.

PRAIRIE GROVE — Bernice Martina Millis, 89, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Aug. 22, 2012, in Springdale. She was born Dec. 15, 1922, at Leota, Minn., the daughter of Gerrit and Lena Den Boer Hofkamp.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Prairie Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Leroy Millis; and one son, Robert Millis.

Survivors include three sons David Millis of Albuquerque, N.M., Michael Millis of Houston, Texas, and Kenneth Millis of Prairie Grove, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Prairie Grove, Ark.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.
