Mrs. Ella Robertson Gay, 78, of 560 Pierce St., died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and had been a resident of Camden for 41 years. Mrs. Gay is survived by two sons, Jessie Lee Gay and James Willis Gay, both of Camden; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Coston and Mrs. Edna Weathersby, of Camden, and Mrs. Ruth Feutral of Texarkana; one brother, Charlie Robertson of Kingsland; one sister, Mrs. Bell Redding of Camden; 16 grandchildren; 3w4 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (Camden News - November 24, 1969)
