Wanda Ferguson, 77 of Camden, AR was called home by God on Thursday, November 13, 2014. She was born November 08, 1937 to James and Maudell Ames Moody in Camden, AR. She was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and worked for Ouachita County Medical Center for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleothas Ferguson, Sr.; son, Cleothas "Pop" Ferguson, Jr.; and brothers, Jay T. Moody, Willy Herman "Billy" Moody and James Moody, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Wilson, Alice Ferguson, Joyce Ferguson and Michelle Ferguson; son, Michael Ferguson; and one sister, Mary E. Gilmore of all of Camden, AR; one god brother, Roy Lee Carroll of Saginaw, MI; two brothers-in-law, Joseph (Hattie) Ferguson of Waldo, AR and Damon (May) Ferguson of McNeil, AR; sisters-in-law, Elzada Ferguson and Elizabeth Ferguson both of Rockford, IL; Fanny (Ledger) Ferguson of Detroit, MI; nineteen grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and very dear and beloved friends from all over the country with special acknowledgement to Effie Watkins of Rockford, IL.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Reverend Lonelle Moore will officiate the services. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff and EMT's of Ouachita County Medical Center for their care, kindness and understanding.
