Arlie James Morrison, 76, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Sunday, August 26, 1990, in a Van Buren nursing home. He was a retired carpenter, member of the Fine Springs Masonic Lodge and attended the First Assembly of God Church.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Tressie; a daughter, Phyllis; a son, Don; two sisters Trudy and Eva; five brothers; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Tressie Pauline Morrison, 99, of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in a local nursing home.
She was born Dec. 8, 1913, to May Brammer Mathews and Grover Mathews of the 88 community in Crawford County.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Morrison; her son, Don Morrison; her parents, Grover and May (Brammer) Mathews; three sisters; and one brother.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Morrison and V.C. Winters officiating under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Swaim and husband Charles of Van Buren; four grandchildren, Larry Swaim and wife Drenda of Van Buren, Michael Morrison of Fort Smith, Dana Winters and husband Steve of Alma and Melissa Burrows and husband Gerald of Van Buren; six great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Winters, V.C. Winters, Larry Swaim, Michael Morrison, Aubrey Mathews and Bub Hunter.
