Adam Funmaker, 78, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in a local hospital.
He was a retired sign painter and self-employed artist, a Christian, Navy veteran of World War II, member of the Holhunk Nation of Wisconsin.
He was the widower of Doris Funmaker.
Funeral services were at Ocker Memorial Funeral Home chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
He is survived by six daughters, Lois Lonetree and Mona Cole, both of Van Buren, Ila Waller of Seaford, Del., Myra Cunneen of Alma, Rita Moore of Fort Smith and Fran Youtsey of Cook, Wis.; five sons, Martin of Fort Smith, Gary of Aberdeen, S.D., Sherman of Baraboo, Wis., Ira of Taos, N.M. and Nathaniel of Mancos, Colo.; one sister, Mary Ann Yazzie of Round Lake, Ill.; one brother, Kenneth, Sr. of Adams, Wis.; 36 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Toby and Timothy Waller, Eric Lonetree, and Adam and Joshua Funmaker.
