Debra Ann Darnell was a true angel on this earth. She left this life peacefully to be with her Lord on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.
She will be laid to rest beside her brother at Gracelawn Cemetery with services at Ocker of Van Buren on Friday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Rodney Lane of the family is officiating.
Debra had a strong faith in God and believed that even a smile could change someone's life. She was a very bright and flamboyant being with the ability to light up a room. We will carry her light forever in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her brother and best friend, Brian Rogers of Alma; her grandparents, Tom and Arvie Rogers of Van Buren; her Grannie, June Marie Binz of Fort Smith; her aunt and kindred spirit, Joy Rogers-Rosales; and her great-nephew, Trevor Rogers Ross.
She is survived by her daughter and her best friend, Miranda Ann Resinos and son-in-law Eric of Alma; her sons, Dillon Rogers and his fiancée Sunset of Alma, Brandon Rogers and his fiancée Holly of Alma and Chance McGhee of the home; her parents, Bill and Claudia Rogers of Alma; her brother, Billy and his wife Sherri of Rudy; her aunt and kindred sister, Ann Marie Scharf of Fort Smith; her Uncle Roy and Aunt Phyllis of Mulberry; and the very joy of her life, her grandbabies, Elliot Alexander, Penelope Rose Marie and William Resinos. Debra left behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She had many friends and never met a stranger. To know her was to love her. This world has suffered a great loss, but she will live forever in our memories and will never be forgotten. She always told her kids, "We may not be rich. But we are rich in love."
Pallbearers will be Miranda Resinos, Dillon Rogers, Brandon Rogers, Chance McGhee, Eric Resinos, William Resinos, Jeremy Sharp, Brent Scharf and Shawn Rogers.
