Gloria Ann Yarbrough Cooper was born on December 24, 1939 to the late Lonnie Yarbrough and the late Daise Lee Morris Yarbrough in Chidester, Arkansas. She was one of 17 siblings.

Gloria departed this life and found everlasting peace on Monday, March 14, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

Gloria was educated in the Chidester school district and later obtained her GED.

She joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at an early age and later was affiliated with the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was employed for many years at Masterson Inc., of Camden, Arkansas. She was later employed at Lockheed Martin/Loral Voight of East Camden, Arkansas. She later worked at Millcreek of Arkansas in Fordyce, Arkansas. Her last job was as a CNA, assisting the sick and elderly.

Gloria was united in marriage to the late Irvin J. Cooper and to this union four children were born.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, three daughters, Gloria D. Cooper Williams (Jimmie) of Bearden, Arkansas, Patricia A. Cooper Box (Curtis) and Angela M. Cooper Newton (Victor) both of Camden, Arkansas; one son, Irvin Patrick Cooper of Bearden, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Amanda L. Williams, Deidra L. Williams, Jimmy L. Williams, Jr., Curtis Box II, Erik A. Box, and Tyrese L. Newton. She also leaves four brothers, Raymond Yarbrough, Gregory Kent Yarbrough, Billy Yarbrough, and Connie Lee Yarbrough; six sisters, Mae Ella Robinson, Dorothy Calhoun, Gladys Yarbrough, Ida Rucker, Bobbie Carter, and a very special, loving, and devoted sister Veretta Williams, who lived with her during her illness; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Gloria Ann Yarbrough Cooper will be held Friday, March 18, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Proctor Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at Proctor Funeral Home on Thursday, March 17, 2005 from 5-7 PM. To sign the online guest register visit www.proctorfuneralhome.com.
