Jean H. Gard
BELLA VISTA — Jean H. Gard, 88, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at Bradford House in Bentonville,
Ark. She was born on April 6, 1926, in O'Fallon, Ill., to Frank E. Harris and Gladys V. (Morgan) Harris.
She moved to Bella Vista in 1981 from Wichita, Kan. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of
Bella Vista, Ark
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Alvin Gard in October 2003; and sister, Elizabeth Calhoon.
She is survived by one son, Larry P. Gard and wife, Sydney, of Washington. Mo.; one daughter, Mary Kay
Card of Arlington, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren„
A memorial service will be at 2. p.m. on Saturday Jan. 10, 2015, at the Bella Vista
Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation, 710 W. 1681h St, New
York, NY 10032.
