Wife of Jimmy Lou Davenport
Stella "Lou" Davenport, 70 of Roland died Thursday, March 31, 2011 in Fort Smith.
She was born July 23, 1940 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Jess and Ruth Weeden.
She was a homemaker and preceded in death by her husband, Jim Davenport, a daughter, Pamela Davenport, a sister, Linnie Swan, and three brothers, Jess, Roy and William Weeden.
She is survived by a daughter, Paula Moellering of Alma; a son, Jim Davenport and wife Jeanette of St. Louis; a sister, Violet York of Tulsa; four brothers, Alfred Weeden of Roland and Freddie, Elbert and Bobbie Weeden all of McAlester, Oklahoma; and three grandchildren, Bridget and Matthew Davenport and Evan Hugh Moellering.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel followed by a brief service held at Newberry Chapel CHurch in Alma with burial at Newberry Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma FUneral Home.
Pallbearers were Mark Davenport, Scott Rogers, Ryan Davenport, Ned Weeden, Freedie Mac Weeden and Morgan Weeden.
