Freda Rose Zulpo Rippetto, age 74, of Roland, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born December 21, 1946, in Little Italy, Arkansas, a daughter of Angelo Joseph Zulpo and Jennie Belk Zulpo. She owned her own cleaning business and was a member of Soul’s Anchor Church.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy (Charla) Rippeto of Greenbrier, Brian Rippeto, Sr. of Morrilton, and Craig Rippeto of Little Italy; life long companion, Edmond Shewmake of Roland; siblings, Angelina Dunlap of Little Rock, James (Shirley) Zulpo of Bigelow, Virginia (Donald, Sr.) Zulpo Standridge of Little Italy, Angelo Joseph (Jane Ann) Zulpo of Bigelow, and Billy (Martha) Zulpo of Little Italy; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Freddie Paul Zulpo, Wilbert Ray Zulpo, Julio John Zulpo, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt Zulpo.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Soul’s Anchor Church with Bro. Billy Zulpo and Sister Jean Zulpo officiating. Burial will be at Zulpo Cemetery on Wye Mountain. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
