Funeral services for John Gunn, 63, of Alma, Arkansas, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kibler Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Milam officiating. Burial was in Baxter Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Mr. Gunn, who died Thursday at his home, was a farmer and a deacon at Kibler Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Adibeth; two daughters, Johnnie and Jeannie; three sons; four sisters, Claire;; Oma, Flora and Bonnie; a half sister, Carolyn; a brother; a half brother L. C. and 10 grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were deacons and the Sunday School Class at the Kibler Baptist Church.

Adibeth Bennett Gunn, age 95, went to meet Jesus Christ, her lord and savior March 25, 2015.
She was born Feb. 26, 1920, to Grover and Dora Bennett.
She was a resident of Kibler. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Gunn; a son, Tommy Dale Gunn; a sister, Virginia White; and a brother, Cecil Bennett.
She is survived by her daughters, Johnnie Beth Arnold (Otis) of Kibler and Jeannie Sue Dean (Buddy) of Alma; her sons, Clifton Gunn (Betty) of Kibler and Jimmie Don Gunn (Betty) of Kibler; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful, lifetime member of Kibler Baptist Church and a precious mother who had a servant’s heart and spent her life serving others. She was a wonderful cook who loved hosting celebrations for all the holidays and birthdays for friends and family.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lewis Roberts Funeral Chapel, Kelley Hwy., Fort Smith. A private, family-only interment will be held after the service.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mark Arnold, Scott Dean, Monte Dean, John Gunn, Chris Dean, Daniel Arnold, James Gunn and Michael Gunn.
