*When John Thomas Pitman was born on December 17, 1863, in Indiana, his father, Riley, was 31 and his mother, Margaret, was 31. He married Martha Caroline (Callie) Thompson on November 18, 1883. They had seven children in 15 years. He died on April 10, 1934, in Faulkner, Arkansas, at the age of 70, and was buried in Rose Bud, Arkansas.
When Martha Caroline (Callie) Thompson was born in October 1865 in Arkansas, her father, James, was 28, and her mother, Cynthia, was 33. She married John Thomas Pitman on November 18, 1883. They had seven children in 15 years. She died on February 17, 1939, in Faulkner, Arkansas, at the age of 73.
