Lula C. Morris, age 83, of Pangburn, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born in Cleburne County, Arkansas, on March 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Stephen I. and Alfa W. (Hamilton) Attiberry.
Mrs. Morris was a homemaker, and her religious belief was Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Morris, Sr.; her parents, Stephen and Alfa Attiberry; one brother, Herman Attiberry; two sisters, Vernus Evans and Delvanna Attiberry; one grandson, Walter Morris; her uncle, Lawrence Hamilton; and many more loved ones.
Mrs. Morris is survived by three sons, William H. Morris of Pangburn, James E. Morris and wife, Sue, of Denmark, and Bobby G. Morris of Pangburn; four daughters, Kathleen Griffis of Rose Bud, Stella Fox and husband, Don, of Indiana, Linda Casey of Marcella, and Elizabeth and David Converse, also of Marcella; one brother, Gene Attiberry and wife, Nancy, of Indiana; 27 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Mrs. Morris is also survived by many more family members, including nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her many friends and loved ones.
A come and go visitation will begin Thursday afternoon, Oct. 29, at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 2, at 2:00 p.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Rolland, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home. www.olmstead.cc
