*When Golden Taft Maness was born on January 20, 1910, in Arkansas, his father, Joseph, was 29 and his mother, Plonia, was 24. He married Ruby Jane Kerr on August 2, 1930. They had two children during their marriage. He died on March 16, 2000, in Quitman, Arkansas, at the age of 90, and was buried in Rose Bud, Arkansas.
When Ruby Jane Kerr was born on February 21, 1915, in Arkansas, her father, Wilcher, was 34, and her mother, Martha, was 32. She married Golden Taft Maness on August 2, 1930. They had two children during their marriage. She died on June 9, 1996, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, at the age of 81, and was buried in Rose Bud, Arkansas.
