Shelby Jean Mansur, a long-time resident of Little Rock, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at home with loved ones around her.
Born on March 9, 1937 in Floyd, Arkansas, Shelby was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She loved the outdoors as long as she had her husband and her beloved animals with her. She could go anywhere and do anything and she did. Her green thumb was something to aspire to and her country cooking was wonderful. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mollie Johnson, two brothers, Murl Johnson, L.J. Johnson and two sisters Ruth Baker and Hazel Taylor.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years, Charles Mansur, four daughters, Sonja Langley, Deborah DePaul (Jim), Letty Walsh, JoAnn Novak (Milan); and one son Granger Allison (Shelia); eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one sister Catherine Jones, and her aunt Maedean Miller. She is also survived by her best friend of more than fifty years Jean Brock.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Crest Memorial Park, 7401 AR Hwy 5 in Alexander. Visitation will be at the cemetery at 10 AM before the service.
Services are under the direction of A Natural State Funeral Service, in Jacksonville.
