Mary Grace Heggie age 72 of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 29, 2010.
She was born in White County on May 5, 1937 to the late Elmer Earl and Ruth McAfee Holden.
She was a member of the Harmony Friendship Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marlon R. Heggie, a son, Marty Heggie and a sister, Dean Key.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Gassaway and her husband Steve of Judsonia and Rita Heggie of Searcy; a brother, Derrel Holden; two sisters, Leah Burnett of Beebe and Joyce Davis of Searcy; two grandchildren, Bryan Haer and his wife Nicole and Rhonda Taylor; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Sydney, Brendon and Katie. She is also survived by many other extended family members.

Marlon R. Heggie, 70 of Searcy, died March 26, 2007. He was born May 7, 1936 in Searcy, the son of Carlton Ralph and Lillie Emma (Watson) Heggie. He was a member of Harmony Friendship Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Marty Heggie and a brother, J.D. Heggie.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Heggie, of Searcy; two daughters, Rita Heggie of Searcy and Linda Gassaway and husband, Steve of Judsonia; a sister, Faye Heggie of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Bryan Haer and wife, Nicole and Rhonda Taylor and husband, Isaac; and three great-grandchildren, Austin, Sydney and Brendon.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Chapel. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
