*When Melisa Lucendia "Lissie" Carson Hawk was born on December 27, 1902, in Lawrence, Arkansas, her father, Joseph, was 30, and her mother, Eliza, was 20. She married George Winfield Hawk on February 4, 1923. She died on October 2, 1985, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 82.
