Joseph Washington
1872 - 1944
*When Joseph Washington Carson was born on July 1, 1872, in Sharp, Arkansas, his father, Gideon, was 25 and his mother, Amanda, was 23. He married Eliza Lucinda Quattlebaum on November 3, 1901. They had eight children in 16 years. He died on September 20, 1944, in Gravel Hill, Arkansas, at the age of 72.
When Eliza Lucinda Quattlebaum was born on April 3, 1882, in Gravel Hill, Arkansas, her father, William, was 27, and her mother, Lucetta, was 21. She married Joseph Washington Carson on November 3, 1901. They had eight children in 16 years. She died on November 8, 1939, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 57.
