*When Thomas Jefferson Cato was born on October 4, 1873, in Woodruff, Arkansas, his father, Amos, was 43 and his mother, Mary, was 30. He married Martha Jane "Janie" Quattlebaum-Cato on July 21, 1895, in Romance, Arkansas. They had ten children in 17 years. He died on October 27, 1962, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 89, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
When Martha Jane "Janie" Quattlebaum-Cato was born on October 4, 1876, in Searcy, Arkansas, her father, William, was 22, and her mother, Lucetta, was 15. She married Thomas Jefferson Cato on July 21, 1895, in Romance, Arkansas. They had ten children in 17 years. She died on September 5, 1969, in her hometown at the age of 92, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
