Hattie Mae Maddox, of Searcy, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013. She was born Saturday, March 3, 1917 in Star City, Arkansas to the late Henry and Addie Tucker Austin.
She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life Pierce Maddox.
She is survived by her son, Bob Maddox (Judy) of Searcy; granddaughters, Tessa Carter (Scott) of Rogers and Tina Crook (Norman) of Little Rock; two great-granddaughters, Madison and Chloe Carter of Rogers; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
As a member of Honey Hill Church for 76 years and a long-time employee of Sowell's Furniture, Ms. Hattie touched lives everywhere she went and continued to do so even in her final hours.
Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1:00 P.M., followed by funeral services at 2:00 P.M. At Roller-Daniel Funeral Home of Searcy, burial will follow at Honey Hill Cemetery in Searcy.
