*When Lenar Joan Coffman, Grimmett was born on June 23, 1887, in Cullman, Alabama, her father, John, was 22, and her mother, Martha, was 33. She married Lawsan Jackson Grimmett on January 15, 1905, in her hometown. They had four children in 13 years. She died on March 24, 1952, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 64, and was buried there.
