1904 - 1942
*When Effie Mae Edwards - Lowery was born on April 13, 1904, in Judsonia, Arkansas, her father, Andrew, was 29, and her mother, Harriet, was 25. She married Claude Calvin Lowery on May 14, 1927. They had six children during their marriage. She died on September 7, 1942, in her hometown at the age of 38.
