On October 4, 2020, Christine A. Corder went to her eternal home. She was born on December 9, 1920, to Birdie Historia and Thomas Gill Akers. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; two brothers; her husbands, Jack D. Williams and Samuel Corder; and by her son, Tommy J. Williams.
Christine was a homemaker whose greatest joy was her son and daughter. She was very interested in current events and enjoyed reading the daily newspaper and watching numerous news programs on television. She was very patriotic and always voted in elections. She was an avid fan of the Razorbacks. She also enjoyed traveling and attending a Baptist church.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Sharon Williams of Little Rock; her nieces, Ledra (John) Swain of Houston, TX, and Sue (Brantley) Aycock of Matthews, NC; and her cousins, David (Lavern) Blocker of Morrilton, AR, Marilela Bloom of Little Rock, and Donald Akers of Georgetown, AR. Christine was blessed to have many special people in her life including Frances and John Buercklin of Cabot, AR, and Alene Goetz and Linda Neyland of Little Rock.
