Fern "Granny" McMillion, age 87 of Georgetown, died Monday, June 4, 2007 in Searcy.
She was born April 10, 1920 in Georgetown to George W. Bell and Minnie Ellen (Davis) Bell. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Georgetown and the Eastern Star for more than 60 years.
She is survived by one son, Jerry D. McMillion and wife Ann of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Sherry Jean Craig of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Christa Nelson of Hattiesburg, Zoe Craig of Georgetown, Bud McMillion of Arkadelphia, Penny McMillion of Erwin, Tennessee; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Perry Dean McMillion.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church in Georgetown with interment to follow at Georgetown Cemetery. The family has requested memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
