Rita Kay Meredith Taylor, 58, of Rosebud passed from this life unexpectedly on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at her home. She was born October 24, 1962, in McCrory, Arkansas to the late Elmer William "Bill" and Audrey Fay Phillips Meredith.
Rita enjoyed the outdoors. She liked to camp, fish, and would garden if properly persuaded. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time on a 4-wheeler or side-by-side ATV with her grandchildren.
Rita is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jerry Taylor Sr.; a son, Jerry Taylor Jr. (Erin); grandchildren, Parker James Taylor and Carsyn West; sisters, Beverly Watkins (Lewis) and Lisa Canard (James); stepmother, Sissy Meredith; stepsister, Jessica Poyner; sisters in Law, Wanda Foster, Pat Martin, Lorinda Buhrman, and Cathy Gates; brother-in-law, James Taylor; as well as multiple stepbrothers, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
She is Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer William "Bill" and Audrey Fay Phillips Meredith; a sister, Tina Meredith Martin; mother-in-law, Annie Bell Johnson Taylor; and father-in-law, E.W. Taylor.
Visitation is Friday, September 10, 2021, from 1-2pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation. Interment is in Weir Cemetery in McRae, Arkansas
