R.B. "Bud" Liles of McRae went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2014. He is a member of Floyd Assembly of God. Bud was a retired farmer and carpenter. He had a heart for public service and served 18 years on the McRae School Board and 10 years as Justice of the Peace on the White County Quorum Court. Bud enjoyed coon hunting and after retirement, spent many enjoyable hours playing dominoes with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Janice Liles; Son, Tommy Liles; Grandson, Scott Liles; Father, Raymond Liles; Mother, Lucille Liles and sister, Betty Langley.
Bud is survived by his son, Tim (Kathy) Liles of Beebe; granddaughters, Courtney(Stephen) Underwood of Beebe and Brandi Liles of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Step Granddaughter, Sara Titsworth; Step Grandson, Joey Jones; Great Granddaughter, Kinsley Underwood, Jacelyn Jones and Great grandsons, Hollis Titsworth, Jace Ethan Jones and Jaden Jones.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Weir Cemetery.
