When Addie S. Sloate was born on February 19, 1906, in White, Arkansas, her father, Jasper, was 29, and her mother, Eva, was 22. She married Louis Franklin Reaper on January 19, 1924. They had two children during their marriage. She died as a young mother on March 17, 1933, in her hometown.
