Charles E. Brown, 96, of Clarksville, died October 2, 2013. He was born October 13, 1916, in Lafayette Springs, Mississippi, to the late Charles F. and Fanny Brown.

He was a World War II Army Veteran, a barber by trade, a devout fisherman and a longtime member of the Clarksville Second Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Windom Brown.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Jessie (Neal) Brown; one son, Charles D. Brown of Clarksville; three sisters, Faye Walton and Bennie Franklin, both of Pontotoc, Mississippi and Mae Peterson of Tupelo, Mississippi; one brother, Forrest Brown, Jr. of Guntown, Mississippi; and one grandson, Charles A. Brown of Lantana, Texas.

Mr. Brown's funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Pastor Tom Dicus officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home

Jessie Mae (Neal) Brown, 96, of Clarksville, died December 18, 2019.
She was born July 7, 1923, to her parents Lee and Verna Neal.

She was a longtime member of the Clarksville Second Baptist Church. She was a loving wife to the Late Charles E. Brown and mother.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Brown, step brother Champ Clark, and step sisters: Annie White and Gertie Barr.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her one son, Charles D. Brown of Clarksville; and one grandson, Charles A. Brown and wife Stacey of Texas; two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown's graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2019, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Powers officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home
