When Martha Eunice Defir was born on August 12, 1884, in McGehee, Arkansas, her father, Samuel, was 39, and her mother, Nancy, was 31. She married Thomas M Gage on December 28, 1903, in Desha, Arkansas. She then married Charles G Fulk on November 27, 1937, in White, Arkansas. She died on November 13, 1975, in Brownwood, Texas, at the age of 91, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
