Mountain Pine, AR - Mary Stonehill, 79, of Mountain Pine passed away October 20, 2017. She was born January 10, 1938 in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Lonnie and Margaret White.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and the Elks lodge in McAllen, Texas.

Mary worked hard for everything she achieved in her lifetime. She started as a waitress and cook but with passion and dedication she eventually ended up owning and operating her own motel. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, but most of all she was a very kind hearted and special woman. Mary was loved by all who met her and will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David, Charles and Frank White.

Survivors include her husband; Garry Stonehill, daughters; Brenda Dozier, Bonnie (Larry) Hopper, Teresa (Phil) Wernette, and Jodie (Bill) Dozier, son, Terry (Linda) Stonehill; brothers; Eddie White, Homer (Joan) White and John L. White, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Services will be Tuesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Hollywood Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Billy Dozier, Steven McClard, Brian Rayburn, Taylor McClard, Stephen Briner, and Phil Wernette.

Arrangements are to be announced by Hot Springs Funeral Home
