Naomi Viola Jenkins, 91, of Beebe, Arkansas, peacefully passed away June 18, 2012. She was born September 18, 1920. Naomi was a lifelong member of the Floyd United Methodist Church. Her love for and knowledge of gardening and cooking were the things she loved sharing with her grandchildren. Grandmother could make anything grow and there was always something on the stove. Her greatest loves were her church and family. She began each visit with "How is everyone?" and ended each visit with "Tell them I love them." Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Ethel Reaves, her husband, Bob Jenkins, and her brother, J. W. Reaves. She is survived by two sons, Larry (Frances) Jenkins of Floyd and Tom (Linda) Jenkins of Antioch; and sister-in-law, Sybil Reaves of Beebe. She was grandmother to six grandchildren, Lari Ann (Rick) Epperson, Robert (Michelle) Jenkins, Alan (Susan) Jenkins, Michael (Rhonda) Jenkins, Bart (Jamie) Jenkins, Paul (Melissa) Jenkins; as well as seven great-grandchildren, Lori (Ricky) Domrase, Matthew Jenkins, Emily Epperson, Kassidy Elam, Jadyn Jenkins, Madeline Jenkins, and Thomas Jenkins; and two great-great-grandsons, Dalton and Drew Domrase. The family greatly appreciates the loving care given by the staff of Beebe Retirement Center during her time there. Memorials may be made to the Floyd United Methodist Church, 1125 Hwy. 305 S., Searcy, AR 72143 or Beebe First United Methodist Church, 302 N. Main, Beebe, AR 72012. Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
