Willard Ray Sams, 63, of Hartman, passed away February 22, 2013. He was born October 8, 1950, in De Soto, Kansas, to the late Cecil and Flossie (Self) Sams. He was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed panning for gold, wood burning, fishing, drawing, playing the guitar and he loved Christmas. He was a loving husband and father.
Mr. Sams is survived by his wife, Kathy (Poyner) Sams; a daughter, Kimberlee Edwards of Amite, Louisiana; three sons, Shannon Sams of Acworth, Georgia, Edgar Sams of West Plains, Missouri and Joseph Sams of Amite, Louisiana; two stepsons, Nathan Gaskey of Lamar and Chris Gaskey of Coal Hill; a step daughter, Alicia Tumbleson of Hagarville; seven sisters; and four brothers.
Mr. Sams' funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013, in the Chapel of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Bro. Raymond Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in West Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Sams, Edgar Sams, Frank Poyner, Stacy Tumbleson, Nathan Gaskey and Andrew Sams.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home

Cindy Jo (Sams) Bechtel, 52, of Hartman, Arkansas died Monday, October 3, 2005. She was a homemaker.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas with burial at West Mount Zion Cemetery in Hartman.
She is survived by her husband; two sons; parent, Margie; a sister; and one grandchild.
