WEST FORK — Lora Mae Drake, 91, of West Fork died Nov. 12, 2000, at Fayetteville Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 12, 1909, in Chadwick, Mo., to James and Alta Francis Mitchell Mills. She was a member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church and was former co-owner of the Kountry Kitchen in Fayetteville for many years. She was also a cook for Kappa Sigma fraternity. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Edgar Drake.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Drake of West Fork and Keith Drake of Nixa, Mo.; one daughter, Donna Wright of West Fork; one brother, Ward Clinton of Scott County, Kan.; five sisters, Norma Moore of Colorado Springs, Colo., Francis Crist, Jeannie Schmidt, Juanita Moore and Dorothy Blackman, all of Scoff County, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Unity Freewill Baptist Church in West Fork with Brian Bowerman officiating.

Burial will be in Zinnamon Cemetery at Strickler under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Yancey Karnes, Russell Drake, Jeff Maples, Larry Moheng, Todd Wright and Dale Lacey.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Wright.

Memorials may be made to the Youth Department at Unity Freewill Baptist Church, West Fork.
