SPRINGDALE — Myrtle Lorraine Reed Garrett, 86, of Springdale died July 30, 1995, at Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 24, 1908, in Tennessee to Steven Thomas and Rozetta Jane Wiser Reed. She was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arkley C. Garrett Sr., in 1968.
Survivors include three sons, Jim Garrett of Springdale, Arkley Garrett Jr. of Fayetteville and Billy Garrett of Calico Rock; one daughter, Betty Carlton of Tacoma, Wash.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale with the Rev. Paul Payne officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Garrett, Eddie Garrett, David Garrett, Billy Ray Greenlee, Kane Garrett and Claude McCollough.
