Norma Ruth Yeager George, 71, of Batesville died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, in a Batesville nursing home.
Born March 28, 1933, in Wewoka, Okla., she was the daughter of Roy and Mozelle Payne Yeager. She had worked at Tyson Foods in Batesville and had been a waitress at the Spur Restaurant and Red Bird Restaurant in Batesville. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include a son, Lindell Drymon of Oklahoma; a daughter, Linda Renfow of Batesville; five brothers, Roy Yeager of Irving, Texas, Dewey Yeager of Springdale, Albert Yeager of Scott, Kenneth Yeager of Oklahoma and Willie Yeager of Bloomington, Ill.; a sister, Venita Coop of Springdale; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Diane Hites and an infant sister.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Jack McCarroll officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Cushman.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Winkle, David Hites, Mike George, Rick Archuleta, Marvin Phillips and Eugene Midkiff.
Honorary pallbearers are Geffery Shelton, Jerry Dickens and Jim Burnett.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Sunday evening
