Hawley H. Rux, age 82 of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 18, 1928 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Herman and Nettie (Peska) Rux.
Mr. Rux was a cabinet maker for many years. He enjoyed fishing, boating and visiting casinos. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. He served in the United States Army during WWII.
Mr. Rux is survived by his caregiver and loved ones: Ann and Morris Anderson of the home, Shanna Robinson and daughter: Madison of Mountain Home, Dustin and Ashley Ellison and daughter: Brayli of West Plains, Missouri, D.J. and wife Britnay and daughter: Hailee Ellison of West Plains, Missouri and Dakota Ellison of the home. Special friends: Rebecca Cooper, Sue and Steve Wilson, Jerry Levine, Jack Burk, Kenneth and Roger Forbus, Annette Lane and Dalton Trivitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Floyd and Gordan Rux.
Private graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 at Baxter Memorial Gardens with Deacon Robert Crawford officiating.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
