Reta Kay
May 06, 1954-April 22, 2015
Reta Kay Brooks, 60, of Bradford went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 22, 2015. She was born May 6, 1954 in Bradford, the daughter of Everett and Anne (Vanoven) Giffin.
She married Tommy Brooks on August 24, 1971. They were married for over 42 years and he wouldn't take anything for the years he spent with Reta. She was his helpmate and his biggest supporter.
Mrs. Brooks was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and watching old shows and movies. She loved watching her grandchildren play, but most of all she loved her family.
She is preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Wallace and Carol Woodard; two brothers, Dempsey Giffin and Everett (Bud) Giffin Jr.; one grandson, Allan Brooks; and her parents.
Funeral Service held at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Marlin officiating. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Bradford, Arkansas.
