Charles Brent Shannon was born on December 3, 1872, in Kentucky, the son of R.. He married Eunice Blanch Hostetter Shannon on December 12, 1908, in Arkansas City, Arkansas. They had four children in 10 years. He died on July 7, 1928, in Arkansas, Arkansas, at the age of 55, and was buried in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
