When Charles Brent Shannon was born on February 12, 1910, in Arkansas, Arkansas, his father, Charles, was 37 and his mother, Eunice, was 27. He married Lula Shannon on May 20, 1933, in Arkansas City, Arkansas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on October 1, 1987, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 77, and was buried in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
