Dbl stone w/Doar D. Dyer, JR
Mrs. Regine (Meier) Dyer, 83, of Bradford went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Searcy. She was born June 16, 1928 at Furth, Germany, the daughter of Julius and Katy Meier-Reser. Mrs. Dyer came to the United States in 1965 from Germany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doar “Dallas” Dyer, Jr.; a daughter, Regine Schumann; two brothers, Sank and Atti Meier; her parents; and a great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Dyer is survived by two sons, Arno “Mecki” Schumann and wife Shelia of Bradford; and Reinhart “Ray” Schumann of Little Rock; one daughter, Gerda Heird and husband Clyde of Redfield, Arkansas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bradford Baptist Church. Interment will be in Oakland Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
