Lillian Maxwell was born on March 7, 1871, in Arkansas, Arkansas, the daughter of Delilah. She married Cornelius Clabourne on February 25, 1891, in Arkansas City, Arkansas. They had four children in 16 years. She died on October 9, 1952, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, at the age of 81, and was buried in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
