Marie Helena Reitz, age 92, of Ulm passed away at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart, Arkansas on Friday, December 21, 2012. A daughter of the late Henry Engelmann and the late Martha Jenson Engelmann, Marie was born in Prairie County, Arkansas on November 14, 1920. Marie was a lifelong resident of Ulm, a homemaker and an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Martha Society and the Ulm Senior Center.Marie is survived by her daughter Dianne Moritz and husband Harold, son-in law, Doyle Sullins, four grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Leonard Shumard and Orville Reitz, daughter, Virginia Sullins, brother, John Engelmann and sisters, Lena Hair and Rosa Reitz.Visitation will be at 1:00PM, with services starting at 2:00PM, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ulm.
